mm hmm. I hope that his documentary touches on what percentage of the unemployed are single, or the sole household earner. I think it's a lot easier to find your passion if you've got someone else bringing in some money.

I also feel like work is work, and it's a luxury to focus on "passion." My passion is not working. That doesn't pay so well :)

Kudos to all the people who decide to make wine, decorate picture frames, open a bed and breakfast, write a book, or make a documentary. I wish I was one of those people.

I'm constantly being told to "find your passion!" If only it was that easy.

I do believe that it is much easier to drag yourself out of bed every day - when it's 30 below and you've got an hour commute ahead of you - if you enjoy your job. People who hate their jobs become stressed, which can lead to real illness, absenteeism, and poor performance reviews.
