| Smallest and Coolest |
Now that I am firmly in planning mode for some much needed home renovations, I am starting to get addicted to looking at how others have designed and decorated their homes. Nothing like stealing a really good and clever idea!
This lunch hour I spent a lot of time looking at the Apartment Therapy Smallest Coolest Apartment contest entries. While my home is about 1,000 square feet, and these entries are all 650 square feet or smaller, I still found lots of useful ideas. I thought the London entry (pictured above) was particularly clever. The movable wall which extends the counter space area blew me away.
If I am going to spend money on renovations, I want to do it in a way that makes my home more functional and livable. That may not mean my walls will need to be fitted with wheels, but seeing solutions like this is making me think more creatively about my space.Labels: Smart Spending |

Smaller is better. It makes you live a simpler life - you don't have the option to accumulate junk.

You can still accumulate junk, I'm surrounded by it and the more I try to tame it the worse it seems to get. I love looking at how people are living in 650 square feet or less, I get lots of ideas for how to better use my 670 square foot house.
