Lemon Tree Update - Baby Lemons!
It is time for another Lemon Tree Update. Long time readers will recall that I first purchased my Drawf Meyer Lemon Tree last year from Amazon.com. It arrived in April 2006 as a rather sad looking stick. You can click on the lemon tree label below to see how far this plant has come.

I now have six little baby lemons growing (they are green). I also have a new crop of fragrant white blooms and a cluster of mini buds which hopefully will turn into more blooms. Last month I added a simple pyrex baking dish (filled with marbles and stones I had hanging around the house) under the pot. Now when I water the tree the excess water drains into the pyrex dish and as the water evaperates it provides moist air for the plant.
