| Boston Globe: 5 money stories |
The Boston Globe Magazine article: It Happened to Me recounts five true money stories. From the 32 year-old hairstylist who is paying off $16,000 in credit card debt to the 54 year-old papermill laborer who won $1 million dollars from a lottery scratch ticket who hasn't quit his job because the money can't replace his work health care plan - these are each interesting.Labels: Money Stories |

Argh, the man who won the million dollars in the lottery "still play[s] the same $10 every day" because "you never know what will happen."
So he's paying a stupid tax of over $3000 per year. Oh, and even though his wife has MS, he hasn't put up railing in their bathroom for 18 years!? What a guy.

I couldn't finish reading the article because the website wants me to create a login. Does anyone know of a shared one that I can use so I don't get spammed?

I'm with Kim, amazed that he still plays the lottery. Plus, he paid down his mortgage rather than the credit cards.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
