Time for some new sheets for the bed

I was very industrious last night and cleaned out my linen closet. This prompted me to rewash and refold some sets of sheets that had been hanging out smooshed in the back of the closet. When I started to put them back I stopped and thought about why they were almost forgotten back there. While the sheets looked fine, they did not fit well on my bed and frankly I will probably not reuse them ever again. I promptly put these two discarded sets in my charity box for a future Salvation Army trip and turned my attention to the two sets of sheets I have been rotating through for the last few years. While both sets are comfortable, they are starting to show the wear and tear that comes with any well used everyday item. It is time to let these two sets become my "back-ups" and invest in some new sheets. Luckily shopping for sheets is now so easy to do online.

Amazon.com has the Bed & Bath Outlet Sheet Sets to look at for a bargain.

Overstock.com Sheet Sets
icon are also worth a look.

I am a big fan of a well-made bed. Smooth clean comfortable sheets, warm fluffy down comforter, and firm pillows all add up to a solid nights sleep for me. A trick for keeping sheets smooth is to be sure to fold those pesky fitted sheets correctly as soon as you remove them from the dryer. For a short tutorial on the proper way to fold a fitted sheet check out this Target.com how to fold a fitted sheet perfectly page. Another tip I read somewhere in the blogspere was to put your folded fitted sheet, top sheet, and pillow case in the second pillow case creating a nice little sheet set package for your linen closet shelf.
