All I want for Valentine's Day is...

A Dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree. Yup, no roses for me this year please. Just a nice practical and frugal indoor lemon tree. Since no one knows I created this blog, I will probably still get flowers. But maybe this post will help some other frugal woman out there. If your lady likes saving money and practical gifts - nix the roses this year and get one of these instead.

I see that they also have lime and orange trees. I might just pick up one of each of these, though I wonder why they take 1-2 months to ship.

I think it may have something to do with cold weather during transport. You don't want the tree to arrive dead because it froze in the UPS truck....

You can probably check with local greenhouses if you want to get the tree for Valentine's day. Otherwise a nice card with a picture of the tree and estimate of when it will arrive at your true loves door could also work.

I would be so stoked to receive a dwarf meyer lemon tree. for any reason. but we're horrible with indoor plants so I fear an aphid-infestation and that would be heartbreaking.

    but. still would be stoked.

will they survive outside? probably a dumb question. but we live in a tropical climate so I could put it outside, right? I'd love one! May have to point the husband in that direction...

Yes, you can keep them outside if you have the correct climate.
