Turn your change into Amazon.com gift certificates
Since I just received an Amazon.com gift certificate for participating in an online study, I thought I would do a little googling about these certificates. I just ran across this business story (see link below) and thought this was a very cool idea.

Amazon.com and CoinStar have teamed up. If you bring your loose change to a specially marked CoinStar machine it will convert your change into an Amazon.com gift certificate. Normally, when you use CoinStar to convert your change into dollar bills a fee is charged. Converting the coins to gift certificates does not incur a fee.

This is something to think about with the Holiday shopping season approaching.
