I'm Back!

Wow - I had a fabulous Thanksgiving. For Thanksgiving day I traveled to the mountains of Vermont to a family cabin. It was great seeing everyone and as an added bonus we woke up to 8 inches of fresh snow on Thursday. Nothing builds an appetite faster than hours of sledding!

I spent Friday building a snow fort and participating in an epic snowball fight with some nieces and nephews so avoided the "Black Friday" shopping frenzy. I was almost tempted to stop to do some shopping in New Hampshire on the way home (New Hampshire has no sales tax - MA tax is 5% - so shopping in NH is an automatic 5% discount) but resisted the urge since I did not have a clear idea of what I wanted. I hate browsing in stores since I tend to spend too much on things I really did not want.

Hope all had a great holiday - now back to the regular slog...
